The views from the Queen Room were simply stunning, watching wildlife right from the balcony. The WiFi connection was frustratingly weak, making it difficult to work.

The view from my King Suite with Ocean View was absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the tides and providing excellent wildlife sightings, especially eagles. The room itself was clean and surprisingly well-maintained despite ongoing renovations, which was a nice surprise.
The hotel's distance from the town left a lot to be desired, especially for those without a vehicle—20 minutes of walking after dark isn't ideal. The restaurant was closed at 6:30 PM without advance notice, which meant no dinner options available. A few problems with amenities—like the mysterious absence of promised flashlights for a power outage—and a lingering odor in the restaurant didn’t help either. No breakfast vouchers were provided, leading to some discontent. a bit more communication on what's available would’ve gone a long way.

needing blackout curtains, the second room only had vans and i woke up at 5 am, fantastic. also, no breakfast vouchers, despite the clerk’s condescending tone while stating it’s for ‘working’ types. amazing that no one seemed to care—it would’ve been lovely to be treated like the special guest I am. almost wrote a good review, but just couldn’t.

The receptionist Leah was fantastic! She helped us plan activities like sea kayaking and whale watching. The views from our balcony were lovely, overlooking the marina and water. Our Queen Room was clean and felt quite new. The restaurant had good food and the staff were really caring.

During a three-night stay, the view from the balcony was truly stunning as we watched bald eagles, seals, and herons from our Queen Room. The restaurant on site offered great food, with the crab cake eggs Benny being a personal highlight. The location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions, like the Port Hardy Museum and local parks, which we really enjoyed exploring.

great location but lacking some details
The location right by the water was fantastic, allowing for a peaceful stay with the sound of gently lapping waves. The room felt quite new and clean, making it comfortable for the night. I enjoyed pleasant views over the boat marina, which added a lovely touch to the experience.
While the motel felt new, the amenities could use more attention.
